Panthers Recall F Thompson from T-Birds
Dec 4, 2016SUNRISE, Fla. - Florida Panthers President of Hockey Operations Dale Tallon announced Sunday that the Panthers have recalled forward Paul Thompson from their American Hockey League affiliate, the Springfield Thunderbirds.
The 28-year old Thompson has recorded a team-leading 15 points (6-9-15) in 20 games this season with the Thunderbirds. His six goals and nine assists lead Springfield, while he also ranks first on the team with three power play goals and 64 shots. Thompson has been the Thunderbirds' most consistent contributor offensively, registering at least a point in eight of his last nine games.
