T-Birds Sign D Saucerman to PTO

Springfield, MA- The Springfield Thunderbirds announced on Sunday that they have signed defenseman Colton Saucerman to a PTO, recalling him from the Manchester Monarchs of the ECHL.
The 5-foot-9-inch, 191-pound Saucerman is an alumnus of Northeastern University, where he registered 64 points in four seasons with the Huskies. He joined the South Carolina Stingrays of the ECHL following his collegiate career and contributed eight points (two goals, six assists) in 15 ECHL playoff games in 2015-16.
This season, in split time between the Stingrays and the Manchester Monarchs, the 24-year-old Saucerman has two goals and 24 assists in 47 games.
