Panthers Recall Malgin, T-Birds Recall Wittchow, Robinson

SUNRISE, Fla. - Florida Panthers President of Hockey Operations Dale Tallon announced today that the Panthers have recalled forward Denis Malgin from his assignment with the club's American Hockey League affiliate, the Springfield Thunderbirds (AHL).

Malgin, 20, has played in 39 games with Florida, recording eight points (4-4-8). He has produced 12 points (3-9-12) in 15 games with Springfield.
 
The 5-foot-9, 177-pound native of Olten, Switzerland was originally selected by the Panthers in the fourth round (102nd overall) of the 2015 NHL Draft. 

Additionally, the Thunderbirds announced the recalls of forward Eric Robinson and defenseman Eddie Wittchow from the Manchester Monarchs of the ECHL.

Armed with a five-game winning streak, the Thunderbirds will next look to make it six straight as they visit the Providence Bruins on Sunday for a 3:05 p.m. puck drop at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center.
