Panthers Loan D McCoshen to T-Birds

SUNRISE, Fla. – Florida Panthers President of Hockey Operations & General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the club has loaned defenseman Ian McCoshen to Florida’s American Hockey League affiliate, the Springfield Thunderbirds.

 

McCoshen, 22, has appeared in 29 games with Florida, recording three goals. Over 32 NHL games, all with Florida, the 6-foot-3, 217-pound native defenseman has produced four points (3-1-4).

 

He was originally selected by the Panthers in the second round (31st overall) of the 2013 NHL Draft. In 68 games for Springfield last season, McCoshen registered four goals and 12 assists to go along with a team-best +23 rating.
